It is time to move on with my life and start a whole new chapter.

I am going to retire from fishing, not from work, or life, just the guide business. I have sold my boat and my house, my wife Alberta and I are going to be moving to be near my oldest son and out grandkids in California. I'm not totally sure what we will do out there, but sometimes you just have to turn everything upside down.

I'd like to thank everyone that has fished with me for the past 25 years that I have been in the guide & charter business. I have had the chance to meet some of the finest people around, a lot of whom became good friends. Don't give up fishing the big lake, and when you do, there are 4 guides that fish out of Roland Martins that I would highly recommend. They are not only good fishermen, but nice guys as well, and I am sure you will have a great time. If you call them or the marina, tell them to remember me.....

My boat is with a nice fellow up in IN and hopefully winning BASS tournaments, most of my fishing gear went to a great guy in OH, and the house sold to a nice young couple with a couple of small children.
